PROcure has implemented supply chain leading practices from the plan to pay framework outlined by OntarioBuys. Through spend analytics and document management, PROcure has both lowered costs and increased available spend data throughout the plan stage.

The management of spend data has resulted in savings through product and vendor standardization, contract compliancy and inventory control, among others. In efforts to avoid paper waste, electronic documentation has been the adopted practice, allowing for saved staff resources previously spent retrieving paper documents. Additionally, reduction in space used to store paper, bar coded labels and high speed scanners and, overall, quicker access to data are just a few more of the cost-saving practices in place at PROcure.
